Bar Mitzvah Project

For my Bar Mitzvah service project, I am partnering with Refugee Care Collective (RCC). I will be creating 8-10 Restart Kits for refugee families in need of household and personal care items.

What Is A Restart Kit?

A restart kit is a plastic tub of household items provided for families when they arrive in Oregon. There are different types of restart kits for each part of a home. After talking to a representative from RCC I decided to focus on building personal care kits.

How Can You Help?

There are two ways you can help me meet my goal:

  1. Purchase items from my Amazon wish list. These will be sent to my house and I will build the kits and deliver them to RCC.

  2. Donate to my GoFundMe page. I’ll use the funds raised here to help buy additional items and/or make more kits.
